Thermo-Floor Ltd Supports Governments Renewable Heat Initiative
With the Government’s promise to reduce emissions by at least 80% in 2050, renewable heat is paramount in reaching this target.
The Governments Renewable Heat Initiative aims to increase renewable heat seven fold within the next decade so company’s like Thermo-Floor are preparing for the change.
Neil Evans, Managing Director of Thermo-Floor Ltd; “Until now renewable heating has had limited support from the Government both in the Commercial and Domestic market. The Governments Renewable Heat Initiative will dramatically increase the installation of renewable heating, for example ground source and air source heat pumps and make them more accessible financially. Thermo-Floor’s unique underfloor heating systems are compatible with all renewable heat sources; ground source and air source heat pumps, wood chip boilers, bio-mass boilers and photovoltaic solar panels. We feel compatibility with renewable heat sources is principal to grow with the industry and the Governments move towards greener fuels and renewable heating targets”.
