Electro-Therm Heating Mats
Our Electro-Therm heating mats are the quickest and simplest way to install electric underfloor heating. Each mat consists of a fine heating cable pre-spaced and fixed to a mesh backing, ensuring consistent heat output across the whole floor area.
Mats are simply rolled out across the subfloor, and the mesh can be cut and turned to follow the shape of the room without cutting the cable itself. This makes them perfect for regular-shaped spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, en-suites and conservatories. With an ultra-low profile, the mats can be embedded directly in tile adhesive or a thin layer of levelling compound, keeping floor height increases to a minimum.

Electro-Therm Loose Cable with Decoupling Membrane
For rooms with awkward layouts, curves or obstacles, our Electro-Therm loose cable system offers maximum flexibility. Instead of a fixed mat, the heating cable is laid by hand, allowing the installer to vary the spacing and adapt to every corner, alcove and fitted unit.
The loose cable is used in association with a decoupling membrane. The cable is pressed securely into the studded membrane, which holds it at precise, even spacing for consistent heat distribution. The decoupling membrane also separates the floor finish from the subfloor, absorbing movement and stresses that could otherwise lead to cracked tiles or grout. The result is a robust, long-lasting floor with reliable, even warmth across the entire surface.
This combination is particularly well suited to tiled and stone floors, timber subfloors, and areas where movement or uneven substrates are a concern.
