Thermo-Floor Leads The Way With A Rated Pumps
Thermo-Floor has switched to Grundfos A Rated Pumps as standard for both domestic and commercial projects.
Neil Evans, Managing Director of Thermo-Floor explains: “When you are doing as much high volume, high value projects as we are, energy saving has to be top of mind. By switching our systems to A-rated circulating pumps, Thermo-Floor continues to stay ahead of market demands. Providing the more energy-efficient alternative allows the end-user to save up to 25% on heating bills compared to other heating systems”.
“A circulating pump can be one of, if not the most energy-consuming electric device in a building. Depending on its use it can, for example, be responsible for up to 15% of electricity consumption in an average household. Switching to A-rated pumps could mean a reduction in energy consumption of 1.5 TWh per year and carbon savings of 0.7 million tonnes per annum. With the A-rated pumps, no energy is wasted. They have a gentler approach and eliminate noise – they are more efficient at all times.”
