Hydronic Underfloor Heating
Is a wet underfloor heating system right for your next project?
Water underfloor heating systems have changed the way we heat homes and businesses around the UK. A cost-effective, efficient heating option, the heat from an underfloor system is evenly distributed through the room from the ground up, allowing the system to use water of a lower temperature than a radiator.
Hydronic underwater heating systems are particularly good for ground floor heating and large spaces, compared to the more compact electric systems that suit small rooms and out-of-the-way areas. Commercial projects in particular are well suited to water underfloor heating, with the network of pipes laid within the floor screed. Not only does the system provide evenly-warmed air during cooler weather, but it can also provide underfloor cooling during hot periods.
