Commercial underfloor heating design, supply and installation

Thermo-Floor UK’s overseas work began with this high profile contract for an under floor cooling system for the Beautiful Yas Island Marina Yacht Club, Abu Dhabi, set only a stone’s throw from The Yas Island F1 Motor Circuit.

In 2007 a programme of conservation works began at Trinity College Chapel. And as part of this a full review of the old 1930s underfloor heating system.

Peterborough’s 612 bed, four storey, multimillion pound City Hospital, built on the site of the former Edith Cavell Hospital, has brought a better all round health service to the City. The building is the largest building project in the city since Peterborough Cathedral was built over 800 years ago.

The Imperial War Museums origins date back to 1917. Its huge popularity has lead to the museum opening new sites, the number of which now totals 5 museums across the UK.

In 2012, following its corporate rebrand, the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank began a high-spec upgrade of their head office buildings, to include underfloor cooling throughout the ground floor atrium and coffee shop and mezzanine level coffee shop.

Spie Matthew Hall managed the £56 million building which provides the students with state of the art IT facilities, specialists studios and laboratories. The college was recognised for excellent standards of construction.
